I have a huge passion for brand management, luxury market and also for my country, Portugal.

Luxury is generally related to MONETARY VALUE. But if we only consider this value, the TOP 5 most valuable Portuguese Brands, in terms of results, are EDP, MEO, Galp, Jerónimo Martins and Pingo Doce.
In general, traditional Luxury market is associated with certain consumer products that have a high STATUS VALUE such as automobiles, fashion, jewelry and many others. It is a declaration of status.
Today, the definition of Luxury does not only include monetary value or status. There is a NEW ERA OF LUXURY where exclusivity remains but with new variables. New trends linked to nature and spirituality emerge. Authentic, genuine and simplicity are valued.
